Searching for my uncle?

Question:Hello ---I have had to come back on here---I have been trying to find out about my uncle who was born in 1922.

I posted a question on here and a lady called Its Just Me replyied. I cannot tell you how amazing she has been. It looks like we have found out about him. Unfortunalty he is dead but It does help to know what has happened to him ... A huge thank you to ITS JUST ME . she is such a nice person and so helpful.

-I cannot thank her enough. Has anyone else tried to find a missing relative?

Thank you Rosie, it was a pleasure to help you I am just sad that he had passed away. It's so nice that my effort was appreciated, it isn't always that way. The USA seem to appreciate the help and effort more than the UK, but I wont let the handful of ungrateful people spoil that, I wont stop offering my help, once in a while someone appreciates my effort and says thank you and lets it be known that my research wasn't in vain. That makes it all worth while.

Don't listen to that grump! I am so excited for you!!! I've never found a missing relative but I've never has one that was missing... I'd like trace some of roots!!!

Yes I am 50 and earlier this year I met up with a cousin for the very first time, and we are keeping in touch, and in June I went to Australia and met up with some distant relatives and had a wonderful time.
