Question:These are fictitious names but:
Joseph and Ann are brother and sister.
Joseph doesn't get married or have children.
Ann gets married and has Catherine.
Catherine gets married and has David.
David gets married and has George. What relationship is Joseph to George and vice versa. Thank you.
If you could recommend a good website for working out such connections I would really appreciate it.
Thank you so much.

Mind Bender had a great and accurate answer, but since I was already typing up my answer before they posted (had to sign in to submit this and refreshed to check for new answers when I did), I figured I'd submit it anyway, even though I don't have a whole lot to add. Also, I don't think I can out do ItsJustMe's link, either, since it looks really helpful and well worked out, but I'll give you a few alternate ones, anyway.

That would make Joseph, George's Great-Great Uncle or Great-Granduncle. Joseph and Ann are siblings, so Ann's children will be Joseph's nieces and nephews. Ann has Catherine, who is Joseph's niece. Catherine has David who is Joseph's great nephew (nephew as opposed to niece, since he is male). It is one generation past Joseph's niece, thus the added "great". You can also use "grand" for the first great, making him Joseph's grandnephew or great-nephew. David has George, which is one more generation down making George the great-great nephew or great-grandnephew and Joseph the Great-great-uncle or great-granduncle.

You can also work in reverse, which is how I figured it out. George is David's son, so David is the father. David was Catherine's son, so she is the grandma. She is Ann's daughter, so Ann is the great-grandma and you add one extra great when figuring out the uncle or aunt this way UNLESS you are using the "grand" which takes the place of a "great", thus making Joseph the great-great-uncle or great-granduncle.

If it's confusing, let me try to explain that added "great" part. See, your parent's siblings are your uncles and aunts, right? Well, your grandparents siblings can't be simply your aunts and uncles, too. You're going a generation past your aunts and uncles. So, your grandparents siblings are your great-uncles and aunts or granduncles and grandaunts, and your great-grandparents siblings are your great-great-uncle and aunts or great-grandaunts- see how the added great thing works? So, if you went as far back as say, your 8th great grandmother, then her brothers and sister's would be your 9th great aunts and uncles or 8th great grand-aunts and uncles. If you go to your 5th great grandmother or grandfather, you would say their siblings are your 6th great aunts and uncles OR your 5th great grandaunts and uncles.

You can find charts all over the internet for such things, but here are some links I found-

I didn't go over each othem in entiritey, so I'd check alternate sights to compare information in case there is a mistake on one of them.

I don't really know if this chart will help but it might.

Any brother (Joseph) is an "uncle" to any descendant of his sisters (Ann) or brothers. Similarly any sister is an "aunt" to any descendant of her sisters or brothers.

To a sister or brother's child (Catherine), he is just an UNCLE.

To a sister or brother's grandchild (David), he is a grand uncle

To a sister or brother's great grandchild (George), he is a great grand uncle.

...etc.

For the relationship the other way (how is George Related to Joseph), just substitute Nephew (or Niece for a girl) for Uncle.

So Joseph is George's great granduncle and George is Joseph's great grandnephew

just a short and friendly addition...
those of us who really get into the stuff, wind up with hundreds of names and relatives. And we always love enticing others into doing this stuff. By the time you have that many persons to work with, it is very simple to download PAF (free genealogy database), that keeps track. this is at www.familysearch.org (and yes, they also have tutorials that help you learn how to find those ancestors).
In casual stuff.. eventually I simplfy by noting that any person of an "older" generation becomes an honorary aunt/ uncle, and those of "my" generation are cousins. Saves a lot of wear and tear.

Why do you care anyway, Joseph must be dead by now. Joseph is Georges Great Great Great uncle on his fathers side.
