Question:Maybe someone can help me, please? I am looking for a cemetery in Invergordon (Scotland). I am travelling to Scotland to learn more about my ancestors and I would like to visit one of my ancestors grave in Invergordon. Unfortunately I don`t know this town at all. There is another problem because I am looking for a grave of George Sutherland; but there are so many Sutherlands in Ross shire.Thank you very much for your help! (I am a foreigner so I don't know how to find an address)

If you contact the register of births/deaths and marriages for that part of Scotland, they should be able to provide you with all the information you need!

hind a local church in the town you will be in most of the records for the cemetery will be found there if not then the will point you in the right direction most country's grave records are found at the church.

go to registry office they will look up the records then go to the town. a book of burials are held by the cemetery office who will tell you the plot number and location in the church yard.hope you find them OK.
