Question:Hi, my mother was born 1945 and was placed in a home. She was given up at birth as her mother was not married. My mother never knew her mum and has never seen a photo. My mother is now 64yrs old and has only told us about her past. She was abused in every way growing up and now as a gift to her I want to find some information about her past. I know this is a long short but maybe someone out there knows something or even my Grand mother.
Some information I have is: My mothers name is Glenys Clarke born 1944 -1945. birth mothers name is Yvonne Clarke, she was born in Tasmania and moved to Melbourne Australia, and lived in Middle Park Victoria. She apparently married a man years later name James Balla who was in the RAAF in 1944 - 1945, he is not my mothers father. My mother went to home called St Catherines in Geelong. I have also been told that maybe they moved to Scotland as I can't find them on the voting poll, I am also looking for extend family. Thanks!
