Position:Home>Genealogy> Who knows about dna 2 find out ur grandfolks?

Question:go to ancestry.com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: go to ancestry.com

DNA is getting tons of publicity and news... so it is confusing what it does. Most DNA tests will tell you things such as your ethnic background, or if your ancestors come from Europe, Asia, etc.
If you want to know specifics about your ancestors, you use old fashioned genealogy... historical documents that are about individuals. DNA does not identify persons.

I don't really understand whether this is a question or whether you are trying to share something with us.

If you are speaking about your mother's or father's parents, just ask them or if they have passed on, ask uncles, aunts, the grandparents siblings if still alive, etc. Unless you were adopted, you wouldn't need a DNA test to prove you are family to your grandparents.
