(Marilyn Long married her daughters father in law (which was Robert Boling) Robert Boling's son was James (Jim) Robert, Robert Boling was in Barefoot bay florida and his ashes are in Rushville, Indiana. This is all the info I have. I just need to know who Roberts parents are and info about the Boling family. Thank you.

Funeral Services for Faye Boling of Charlestown, IN were held on Tuesday September 19th, 2006 at 10:00 AM at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Burial took place at the Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, IN. Visitation was on Monday from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and after 8:30 AM on Tuesday. Survivors include her husband Robert Boling; son Robert Ladd Boling of Sellersburg; daughters; Marcida Baker of Sellersburg, Kasey Phillips of Seattle, WA and Linda Sue Avis of Fairdale, KY; brother William Francis Boling; sisters Amy Pearl Boling, Joyce Moody and Mary Ellen Block; and 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her great grandson Derek Henry.

That is 14 years ago, but his SSN was issued in Indiana and he died near Barefoot Bay, so I thoght him worth a try.

His obit won't be on-line. You have some choices:
1) Visit the county library yourself and look it up
2) Write to the county library and ask them to look it up, sending a small donation and a SASE
3) Same as (2) but the county genealogical society
4) Post a request on the GenForum or Ancestry Brevard County Board (NOT Both) asking for an Internet Angel to help you.

The census isn't always accurate.

Caution #1, he might be "Bobby" or "R. J.". If his dad is also Robert and he was Robert Edward, he might be there as Edward.

Caution #2, his last name might be horribly misspelled.

Caution #3, he might have been away from home when the enumerator came around. The one in Anderson, Rush County looks good, if Rushville is in Rush County and his ashes went home to the family plot.
