Unless you are in the Cleveland area, it is highly unlikely that your local public library will carry the microfilm for the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Even they happen to have an online subscription to the paper, many times only a citation is provided for obituaries and not the full-text.

You will need to contact the Cleveland Public Library (Newspapers will not respond to obituary requests or they will refer you to the nearest public library). They provide a nice index for obituaries as well as a copy service . Your grandmother's information is as follows:

Title: CHRISTIAN, BETTY M : Wife of Charles G (Obit.).
In: Plain Dealer 19 Oct, 1991, pg. 09 sec. D
Subject: CHRISTIAN, BETTY M
Obituaries --1991 --C
ISSN: xxxx-xxxx
System ID no: ABX-9951

To request a copy of the obituary - (include the information above when requesting obit):
Contact the Microform Center of the Cleveland Public Library, either by e-mail (Microform.Center@cpl.org), telephone (216-623-2910), or regular mail (Microform Center, Cleveland Public Library, 325 Superior Ave., NE, Cleveland, OH, 44114). Copies will be mailed to you free-of-charge. PLEASE, DON’T FORGET TO INCLUDE YOUR REGULAR MAILING ADDRESS IN ANY E-MAIL MESSAGE YOU SEND FOR THIS PURPOSE.

Is there any of those you would like to see.
I assume "my area" means you don't live in the Cleveland area.
Rootsweb has a county based email list for all counties in the US. On the Dallas list, there are a few generous volunteers, who are at the library downtown on a regular basis, and as a courtesy, will pickup document copies. Obviously, it would be different to ask someone to make a special trip, and knowing exactly where the obit is, is a huge help.
My suggestion is to subscribe to the county list for Cleveland (don't know the county name), and post to the list, to see what is the best way to access the record you need. It is possible that there are similiar 'angels' on that list, who may live in the area.
Another option is check out the web page for Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness, and see if there is a volunteer there. I know that when I looked, the persons who offer help are SPECIFIC as to what they will or won't do. Worth a try.
You can email the library in Cleveland with your info. They will find it and once you send them their small fee they will mail it to you. I have done that before.
