Question:I am looking for Herman Hans Portz he is my father but i never had the chance to meet him since he and my mom split up when i was young now that my mom has now passed i would like to get to know him.So any info would be well appreciated.

No, I don't know him. But if I were you I would go onto craigslist.com and click on your city on the right hand side. Then, I'd post this same thing on there in the personals 'missed connections'. Make sure to specify his age (approximately) and what city you think he might be in, or where he is from.

Nope. Don't know him but I was in a similar situation.
I was abandoned at six by both my parents. I went to Social Security. Of course they had to find my parents or I was being threatened with deportation to of all gods countries, Turkey. Needless to say, they found my parents. As long as you weren't thrown away the way I was, you can get info on him. Hope you got a birth date or some other important info. That would make it easier. I didn't have anything. Barely had a name because when you're six you call your mom and dad, mommy and daddy. Don't have a birth certificate because they never got me one, so I'm still trying to get that little problem licked.

Did he live around you? If so, you could try what someone tried in my city. Get a e-mail address just for you search and post it in the local newspaper. It's costs money, but it sounds like it would be well worth it. I don't know if it worked for the lady in my city's newspaper. But it would be worth a shot. However, I would not give out your phone number. Good luck. I hope you find your dad. And I'm sorry to hear about your mom.

I did locate a H. Portz in Miramar, Florida, but am not certain of age. You can look up an address and phone number on anywho.com

Another H. Portz is in Carrabelle, Florida

You can go to peoplefinders.com, search for H. Portz, look up the addresses or phone numbers for all the Portz people on anywho.com, and start to contact them and ask questions.
