Position:Home>Genealogy> Can anything be done to straighten a warped picture frame?

Question:Our office has three large paintings (about a meter by a meter each) that make up a series. They are painted on masonite and one has warped. I've tried blu-tac which doesn't hold it down - are there any other suggestions that might actually work :)

I am a member of the Arts Conservation Specialist (ACES), we are painting/artworks conservators. For your concern, please don't use any chemicals or any thing that might affect the painting. I am not going to recommend anything until i have seen the real problem, but i would like to suggest some important things that can help you save the rest of the paintings. Place the paintings in a controlled temperature room, humidity is a no no to these paintings. Please do not touch the paintings if you really do not know how to restore them, seek the help of a conservator specially if these paintings were made by national/famous artists.
super glue nails or take it down for a small fee you can get it fixed a a framer look in the phone book or just go to photoshops or places to develop fotos another good place to look is the markets they havew a pretty large rande of framers like midland or malaga markets good luck!
