After 61 years, you have your job cut out for you. When I do Probate court tracings on lost heirs, which is similar to what you're looking for, I start with the last year and place they were known to live. Then you look for everything you can in local newspapers, high school yearbooks, church records, etc.

It's fair to guess she was a Protestant and from a very conservative family. The Church of the Nazarene isn't that large of a denomination. If you're lost for a place to start, I'd check with the denomination's conference office in Colorado and find out where they had churches back then. The towns where they had churches would be the towns I'd focus on to find that family.

Next, go to old city directories and track down everyone with that surname. I would honestly suggest a short vacation to the Colorado State Library and Archives. All of the records you need will be there and will be well-organized. You may also get lucky and be able to find old Secretary of State records archived. It's not a guarantee, but about half of the states have these records in their archives. You have to search manually, but if she got a license by 1950, you'd be able to find it.
You could try www.zabasearch.com , it is considered unethical to post information regarding a live person on any yahoo forum.
