Yes, it would. As long as your mom's sister is a blood sister, not adopted or a step-sister.
It could prove a secondary relationship but not the extent of that relationship. Such as it could prove that it is your mother's relative and that it is a female relative but that person can be your aunt, cousin etc. But can't specifically prove that you are indeed cousins. Familial relationships fill that piece of information in for you. SUch as, the test proves that it is a secondary relative to you, you know it is your mother's sister's daughter. Thus you know you are blood-related cousins.
Yes- it would prove you were related.. it would be a partial match.. but they probebly wouldnt be able to tell which aunt your cousin came from... unless they had your aunts dna
