Question:

What cousins are we ( question?

there is a guy named bubba his grandma was my grandpas cousin. his grandma had his dad and my grandpa had my mom so his dad and my mom are cousins . his dad had bubba and my mom had me so what are me and bubba??

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: If Bubba's grandma and your grandpa were 1st cousins, it works like this:

Bubba's GM & Your GP = 1st cousins
Bubba's dad & Your mom = 2nd cousins
Bubba & You = 3rd cousins

You just keep adding every time two cousins have children. If the grandparents were second cousins to start with, you'd add 1 to every cousin, making you and Bubba 4th cousins.

By the way, you wouldn't say "What is me?", so you don't say "What are Bubba and me?" You use "me" or "I" the way you would if Bubba wasn't there, so

"Please show it to me".
"Please show it to Bubba and me".

"I went to the store".
"Bubba and I went to the store".

You all have the second person plural that we Yankees don't, I bet. find the 'common' ancestor... grandpa and grandma above are probably 1st cousins (if they had the same grandparents).
or...
if you have the same parents, you are SIBLINGS
. same grandparents, you are 1st cousins
2nd cousins have the same gr grandparents
3rd cousins have the same gr gr grandparents.

If your first cousin has a child.. the child is one (generation) removed from the same generation.. meaning, 1st cousin once removed.
More than that, it is worth downloading a free genealogy program, which keeps track of the rest. Have a look at this chart maybe that will help you work it out,
