I cannot ask her since I haven't seen her since my parents divorced when I was a baby. i am trying to trace her. i had a similar problem to this with my mother . i knew where she was born and her parents names so i went to my local registery office and paid a fee and they searched the offices records in london . it took about 6 weeks but we got there in the end. ask her you could request a copy of the marriage certificate this may have her DOB on it. You might have another family member some where that could find out. Or there should be some some vital statistics agency that could give you the information. I'm assuming the answer isn't a simple one, else you wouldn't be posting it on yahoo answers.

The only easy way to find such information easily online is to look on family tree websites, who hold databases of records for each part of the uk. The link below has a free trial so is a good place to start. (I used it myself, then just cancelled before the end of the free trial.) If you would like to email me mamsgel1956@yahoo.co.uk I can find you the information and email you straight back. If you order it from the GRO beware, they are photocopies of the original and in my opinion not very good ones either. Its always best to get them from the register office where the life event was recorded. Hope this helps.
You could do the search on www.ancestry.co.uk at least from that you will get the quarter, the year, the volume and page numbers. find.allfolks.com
would be a good place to start by putting in her name and if you know her approximate location. Sometimes this site gives an age but not a birthdate. Assuming there are no relatives who can tell you. her marriage certificate will have her age from which you can work out roughly which year she was born. You could then apply for a copy of her birth certificate to http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/,... you would have to pay a little extra for not having all the information, or you could co to your local county records office, major library or online sites like ancestry.co.uk and search the GRO births index for those particular years, Or you could email the details to me and I'd have do the search. Find the quarter page and index number and pay only £7.00 for a copy of her birth certificate. I

Otherwise, f you know the place where she was born you could apply to the local superindendent registrar.

Or you could email the details to me and I'd have do the search. Ask for someones help, there are fantastic researchers in the UK who can help you, why not take one of them up on their offer. addd about another 25 years on the marrige date and u got it. i can help u more if u tell her name....
hope i helped
