Question:

What would my grandpa's(on my mum's side) mum's cousin's granddaughter be in relation to me??

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Let us draw it out, one generation per line. Assume your family named their children "H" and the cousin's family used "E", and the cousin you mention is a first cousin. In the third line there, Elizabeth 3 is the daughter of Elizabeth 2 and Harold 3 is Hanna's son. He is Harold 3 because he is the 3rd generation, not because his father is Harold.

Elizabeth 1 & Hannah 1: Siblings
Elizabeth 2 & Hannah 2: 1st cousins
Elizabeth 3 & Harold 3: 2nd cousins
*** Elizabeth 4 & Harold 4: 3rd cousins
Elizabeth 5 & ***Hannah 5: 4th cousins

You are Hannah 5. Elizabeth 4 is the granddaughter. She is your father's 3rd cousin, and he is one generation removed from you, so Elizabeth 4 is your 3rd cousin once removed.

Your grandpa = Harold 3.
Your grandpa's mum = Hannah 2.
Your grandpa's mum' cousin = Elizabeth 2.
Elizabeth 2's grand daughter = Elizabeth 4. I don't know if this will help any, but it might.
http://genealogy.about.com/library/nrela... wouldnt it be your cousin names to title This person would be a seventh cousin. I think so remember: all of you have the genes and blood running thru your veins. Ted Pack is correct, she would be your 3rd cousin once removed. Who is your Great Grand Mothers (Granpa's Mum) Cousin's Grand-daughter to me?

Answer: Your 3rd cousin once removed, but just call her cousin, or by her name is best. I worked it out, and it is: YOU! No, wait a minute, that can't be right. Give me a few more minutes...
