Question:

How is my cousin's child related to me?

First cousin, once removed?
Second cousin?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Once removed, if the cousin in question is, as you said, a first.
Your (first) cousin's grandchild is your first cousin twice removed.

When (if) you have children, they and your (first) cousin's child will be second cousins.

has a four-color chart, if you count black and white as two colors.

For a real stretch, your second cousin's great grandchildren will be your 2C3R. Your great-grandparent's 2nd cousins are your 2C, 3 times removed too. I know a lady who is President John Adam's half first cousin 7 times removed.

(John Adam's mother and this lady's "nth" great grandfather were half-siblings.) Second cousin. If it's your first cousin's child, then he would be your first cousin once (one generation) removed. Your children will be that child's second cousins. yea, 2nd cousin I think it is second cousin. second cousin. Ted's totally right.
P.S. My cousin's wife just gave birth last night!!! I'm so proud!!! His name is Nathaniel. second cousin its first cousin once removed. my cousin is like 40 and her daughter 15, im 17, and i asked my aunt which is my cousins mom what her daughter was to me, and she said once removed. If your cousins is your first cousin, then her children would be your first cousin once removed. the child is your niece and you are her aunt. many people confuse this but its like a heirarchy. you have to be on the same strata to be cousins but your above her thus your the aunt Your Cousins child is you 1st cousin once removed,

1st cousins share a set of Grandparents and then each generation from them is once, twice removed etc,

2nd cousins share a set of great grandparents and the Once, Twice removed works the same way. 2nd cousin...
