Greek name Katsoules?

My great grandfather ran away from home (in Greece), hid on a ship, eneded up in the US, and had his name changed by the gov. I only just learned the spelling of my Greek name. I would love to find out more, can anyone tell me anything about the Greek name Katsoules?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I am not sure, but I think that there are many people in the area of Thessaly that have that surname. My mother is from Trikala, a region of Thessaly and there are many who are called Katsoulas which is not very different from Katsoules.
