HENRY D. TESTON was English according to Weenonah (YOUNG) MCCORMICK TAYLOR, his granddaughter.

HENRY TESTON was commissioner of Newton Co., TX and had an office in Burkeville, TX.

Mamie RUDD, a granddaughter, stated that HENRY DARLON TESTON was mostly a stern old man. But he had a dog named Collie that Mamie played with when she was a littl girl. When Collie was run over by an automobile, HENRY cried.

Mamie also related that HENRY had one of (if not the first) car in Peachtree, TX. The family told a story on him that said the car was going too fast to suit HENRY, so he yelled "Whoa" at it but naturally the car didn't slow down ath this command, so HENRY hit a tree. He got rid of the car & never owned another one. HENRY raised horses, was a farmer and a hard worker according to Mamie.
