Hi, I believe my maternal grandmother was sent to Magdalane facility in Liverpool, in the 1940's, where she had a child. Does anyone know how I can find out?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: If you go onto some of the adoption websites they have a link to the magdalene laundries some sites do list the names of some of the women - I am sure if you type in magdalene laundries into google it will bring up lost of sites. I only know of the ones in Ireland I never knew that one in Liverpool existed. Good Luck.
