My 2 brothers were given up for adoption sometime ago, what would be the best way to search for them? Should I search for their birth records or should I search for their adoption records?

Go to the town where they were adopted, if they are of age, they may have a 'contact' record with the Town, City, or Records Keepers (County or state). You may have to leave your contact information, and simply hope and wait for them to be interested.
