Make a viewable CD of Genealogy data base by family?

I want to make a CD for my family and friends to view of my Family Tree Maker Genealogy data base, without having to have the FTM program installed in their computer. Is their any way that I save my data base on CD? Thank you....

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Create a web site. I know FTM and Roots Magic both do this; I suspect the other programs do too. Don't upload the web site. Copy all of the HTML fles to the CD.

You may have to put "See Photo Gallery picture "Eltweed Pomeroy" for picture in great-uncles Eltweed's notes, and have a separate photo gallery on the CD.

Roots Magic, FTM's smaller rival, will let you copy a data base and a view-only copy of itself to CD. This lets your family look at your data any way they want.
