Was Frodo a soldier of William the Conqueror?

Frodo probably came to England around the time of William the Conqueror. Possibly originally had land in Suffolk, then Settled in Tilney in Norfolk. Some descendants were called Frederick de Tilney, Hugh de Tilney.
