Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Yes, there is still a Capone family, and they still use the name. For instance, one of his distant cousins, Alfred Capone, is a high ranking official in the United Steelworkers Union in Ohio (and he actually tells people that he's related to Al Capone!)

The cosa nostra ("this thing of ours" the actual name of the "mafia") family that Capone founded, the "Chicago Outfit" still exists to this very day - although they are a lot weaker than they used to be, thanks to 40 years of federal and state racketeering investigations.

As for the Gotti boys, they actually use their dad's last name, Agniello.

Their father is a reputed Gambino crime family member, who is currently in a state prison for running a car theft ring out of his junkyard in Flushing, Queens, New York.

The youngest of the "Gotti boys" got arrested in Nassau County, New York last week for drug possession. He's out on bail.
