How do you search for Newsarticle/ Mr.Sutton and wife died car accident CA owner of 7-11 store within 15 yrs?

My mother is searching for a daughter of her friend/ The parent, who used own 7-11 store, someplace in California/ died of car accident/ daughter's older brother is in Jail/ it's been more than 15 years since my mother has even had news of her/ how do I search for the daughter? I tried Peoplesearch/ google/ CA accidental death/ to no avail. The daughter's name is Jackie or Jacqueline Sutton/ father's name is Don Sutton/ brother is Dicky or Richard Sutton/ please help

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: You may want to visit your local library and review their old newstories (most libraries save these on microfiche). You may find the news story this way. While you're at the library, ask the reference desk staff (most of these people I've ever approached with a question are walking encyclopedias and may have some additional ideas ...). Not meaning to be harsh, but your friend's daughter may not wish to be found.
