I have an elderly uncle living in B.C. and we would like to know if he is even still alive. his wife doesn't allow any correspondence. Where would I look online for a death notice?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: If he was in the U.S. you could try the Social Security Death Index(SSDI). Also go to any genealogy site, and type in his name. The more common the last name, the more hits you'll get. I've done a lot of research on my family. If you want to e-mail his name to me, I will search it for you. Include any information such as birthdates, country of residency, etc.
