Question:

Can I get a copy of a certificate of cremation (Singapore)?

Kind of a related question: Will the death certificate have information on place of burial/ where ashes are kept.
I wasn't sure if it would, so figured a certificate of cremation would have that but is it possible to get a copy of that cert? (and if so where?) Thx

Further information if any would find it helpful: I've been told that my parents used to visit his grave every month until I was born so the ashes are definitely stored. I only know that he died in '83 and that he was cremated. I am currently planning to return to Singapore and contact individual crematoriums. I know its a government crematorium, my only fear is that its shut down since '83 was quite a while ago.
Given that a death certificate would not have that info, is there any way to get a hold of the cremation cert? Is there some central registry for those or is it just given to the family at the time?

cos my thinking was that if I can get ahold of the name of the funeral home, etc, they would probably have records.
I know he died in Singapore. Would it have to be more specific than that?
