Anyone have information about Captain Geroge Little or the Third Scouth Carolina Ranger Regiment?

He emigrated from Scotland to South Carolina and served as a Captian in the 3rd SC Ranger Regiment. He was wounded in the hip in the Battle of Charleston fighting the British Legion led by the infamous Brit Banstre Taleton. Taken PIOW, he was held abourd British prisoner ships. He then settles in SC, then Kentucky, then his family moves to Texas where I was born in 1974. Any more information would be priceless. hint: there is anotehr Captain George Litte who was in the Navy and from NY. differnt hero!

spelling correction: George Little and Third South Carolina Third Regiment (Horse Rangers) they rode into battle, but fought unmounted. He was in Col. Thompson's regiment and his burial plot is marked.
