How can I find a copy of a obituary of an aunt that passed away in the late 90's

Question:

How can I find a copy of a obituary of an aunt that passed away in the late 90's.?

I called the funeral home and they said its been to long but they would try and research it. How can I get a free copy of it. Also, any suggestions would help. Thanks a lot!!

Thanks so all who helped the local newspaper down there faxed me a copy of it.
