How can i find someones birth date on line ,if i know the name/ year/location of their birth?

Are there any free sites you can use to find out this information?

The LDS Family Search site is the first stop. Then check other sites if you have the time to do that. Otherwise, order the birth record from the municipality where the person was born, that is cheaper than the State (USA) or Province (CA) or similar level in other countries. Birth Records cost me $4.00 to $12.00 from the towns in Massachusettes, for example. But the States, I paid $28 to $42.00, depending on the state and how good your information is. You simply find their process online, and follow it. For a Town, call the Town hall ask them where they keep their Vital Records, then call them. They will tell you on the phone how to get the record. Usually you mail a check to the town.
