How do I obtain a passport from my dad who died in 1951? He was from Sweden. I don't have any photos of him.

My dad died when I was 4 years old and there are no pictures of him. I know he had a passport. Is there anyway to get the passport information and the picture that was submitted? It would have been given out around the late 20's or 30's.
