Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I found two gentlemen in the World War I draft cards. One was named Howland Dartmouth Canfield from Brookline Massachusetts born Jan 4, 1899 and the second was named Saumuel Dartmouth Sewall born Oct 26, 1876 who registered in Seatttle Washington.

There were two gentlemen in the World War II draft index. One was Clifton Dartmouth Colby born November 1, 1894 born in Nashua, New Hampshire and the second was Kenneth Dartmouth Legge from Baltimore, Maryland.

Now I suspect that Kenneth Dartmouth Legge might have ties to the Legge family who were earls and barons of Dartmouth... (That is a guess though based on his name) Here is a link to look at the history of George Legge. 3rd earl of Dartmouth
