Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: The name is of Italian origin. I only found two in the 1930 census and they lived in the Chicago area. In the public records index records on Ancestry there appears to be a few living in Rhode Island at the current time. If there is a specific one that you would like for me to search for, let me know.
