Question:

I have a lot of really old records how would I go about selling them?

Many of them were grandparents but they do not have sleeves I have a list of them on a disc which I could print

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: E-bay is a really good venue. My brother in law sold off all of his old albums on E-bay and did quite well. The problem is shipping them and preparing them for shipping. He told me that it was a pain, but may be well worth it depending on which albums they are.

You might want to see if there are any record stores in your area who purchase records for resale. You probably won't make as much as selling them on E-bay, but you also don't have the headache of shipping all of them.

If you don't want to list them on E-bay, I've seen E-bay consignment stores crop up around here. That might be a good compromise if you don't want to mail them all. I believe you pay them a percentage, but I think you stand to make more there then if you go to a record store or donate them to charity!
