I took a look on Ancestry.com for you. There weren't many, but there was an Ezzy family in Maine that listed their birthplace as Syrian Arab Republic. I also looked at the Detroit Border Crossing records and there were entries of Ezzys born in Syria as well. There were several from Australia as well.
