Found a posting on army.ca of a woman looking for her fathers war records . He is my Grandfather but she did not leave an email addy..help

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Well, if Ralph is YOUR grandfather, and he was HER father, she has to be your aunt - a sister to either your mother or father. Unfortunately, that is very common, for someone to post a question on a board, and maybe change email providers, making it very hard to locate them if you find the message a few years later.
So, process of elimination (if your parents are still living) is to identify who she is. Unless there is an estrangement in the family, it is possible they have a present regular address and/or phone.
One thing I like about family research is that it often nudges someone into making contact with relatives that they may have lost contact with. And sometimes heals family rifts, if there is one.
