How is it possible to have a green eyed baby when the parents have blue eyes?

How is it possible to have a green eyed baby when the parents have blue eyes?

My mom has green eyes and both of her parents have vivid blue eyes. My dad has brown eyes and I have blue eyes, and I understand that far. But how is it possible for my mom to have greeen eyes?? They don't even have a trace of blue!

Three of my great grand parents(on my mom''s side) had blue eyes. The other one i don't know..I also have another question: is it possible for my future children to have green eyes?
