Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: This is one of those requests when a visit to your local library may be the best answer. Information on the Art School may be in an art history encyclopedia off line. Vesper Lincoln George, 1865-1934, was an artist and book illustrator. There is a link below to one of his illustrations. Vesper had 2 daughters, one of whom, Dorothy, apparently never married. I couldn't find the family in the USA 1920 census (perhaps they were traveling or in Europe at the time) but it's doubtful there were additional children after the (curiously named) Bartasa (which is not a misindexing for Barbara; I checked). Vesper did have siblings, so it is possible there is a cousin connection to your family. 1930 USA Census, Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts Vesper L George, age 64, born MA circa1866 Mary E George 63 c 1867 Dorothy H George 36 c 1894 daughter 1910 USA Census, Gloucester, Ward 8, Essex, MA Vesper L George 44 b MA c 1866 (fa b VT, mo b MA) Mary E George 43 b MA c 1867 (fa b CT, mo b MA) Dorothy H George 16 b MA c 1894 daughter Bartasa L George 9 b MA c 1901 daughter Charles L Hills 74 b MA c 1836 (parents b MA) father-in-law 1900 USA Census, Malden Ward 5, Middlesex, MA Vesper L George 35 b MA c 1865 Mary E George 33 b MA c 1867 Dorothy George 6 b NH c 1894 daughter Catherine Mac Arday 28 b Canada c 1872 servant 1880 USA Census, Boston, Suffolk, MA Clarence George 26 b MA c 1854 (fa b VT, mo b ME) druggist Hattie I.
