Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I looked at www.searchforancestors.com. Then I clicked "Surname Origin". Next scroll down and you will see "Enter Surname" which is last name. I typed in Kuhel then clicked search. Then a screen will pop up and there will be a "Facts" list on the left hand side. In the list there will be "Place of Origin" so click that then it will tell you! My result was that Kuhel came from Germany. Good Luck and I hoped that I heped!!! Bye!
