Why i dont look like my race?

Question:

Why i dont look like my race?

my greatgrandma is a Dutch.
another greatgrandma is an arab of European looks.
The others are of pure Malay parentage.

I am more of Malay genetically(abt 80% i think, haha) but i dont look like Malay at all!

People think i am Filipino, Eurasian, or Peranakan(half malay half chinese).

Does this mean i am adopted?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: You could have Fillipino or any other ancestors in your past and now the traits are showing up in you. Happens sometimes. For example a white couple will have a baby with a dark skin tone and find out later that one of them had a black ancestor.
