Does anyone know a good place to research the genealogy of brigham young?

he's one of my ancestors--though i'm baptist, not mormon--and i have just always wanted to know where i came from....

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Shouldn't be too tough. Do normal genealogy research for the last 200 years and you'll find him. The fact that you're Baptist now is less relevent than the fact that your ancestors were Mormon and found genealogy to be a very special and necessary part of doing God's work. The nice part is finding out that QB Steve Young is your cousin :D

Talk to the older members of your family to find out who your grandparents, great-grandparents, etc were and where they lived. Find the records on them and keep researching. Use the http://www.familysearch.org website and I'm sure you'll link into known research shortly.
