Question:

I am intrested in finding someone to help me with Greek Genealogy.?

I am traveling to Greece, Chios, and I am interested in finding someone to help me find out information while I am there.
Do they have Genealogy libraries there or Genealogists like we have in the states, and how can I find one to help me?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I'd start with Aris Poulimenakos, who's a very well-respected Greek genealogist. If he can't do it personally, I'm sure he can refer you to someone familiar with the region you'll be researching (God help you if it's Thesalonika). The last phone number I had for him from the U.S. was: 011-30-210-9351449

This is the last address I had for him, and the last email address...
