Bulletin boards from myfamily.com. Put the name of the ancestor and dates you have of birth and death and where they lived. Any thing you have. It may take 6 months to a year to get connected. Check with you family members and see if any one in the family did any genealogy. Pictures are clues. Find old pictures of your family members. Treat it like an investigation.
You can sign up on www.dnaancestryproject.com its a dna site but it has a free portion if you surf for it. You can post your ancestors pictures and a web page. There are fellow genealogists. They may or may not have your family names.
