Does anyone know Douglas Edgar Albert?

I'm trying to locate my husband's biological father. His name is Douglas Edgar Albert and he used to serve in the U.S. Army. He was stationed in Germany and married my mother-in-law Maria. My husband was born after he got out of the army (but still in Germany). They got divorced when my husband was still a toddler and he hasn't been seen or heard from since. He probably doesn't even know that my husband is in the states now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We don't have his social security number. All we know is his place of birth, his birthdate, and his parents' names. We don't even know where he moved to after the divorce, if he stayed in Germany or came back to the US.
