Question:

Wormald Family. Manchester Area. 1900 Period.?

Farther Alfred. Wife Elisabeth. Son Alfred. Daughters. Bertha.
Clara. Elisabeth. All born in Openshaw. Lancs. Belived lived 10 Cuthell Street. Bradford. District. Manchester. All Daughters worked as Skirt Dress Machinest's. I am Interested particulary in Clara (She would have been my Grandma) she had a Daughter January 11th 1908 who she named Clara.
This was my Mother. Clara gave her Address as 46 Herne Street. Bradford.Manchester, and this is on the Birth Certificate. It is possible that Clara also worked as a Singer
in the Music Halls around Manchester. Baby Clara was adopted (or taken in as is was then called. No Official Addoption in those day) by Mr Samuel & Jane Hargreaves of
15 Watts Street. Levenshulme.Manchester. who gave Clara a new name of Violet. In 1910 Jane gave birth to a baby girl who was named Ida, Violet and Ida were treated as sisters both got married, and both died in the 1990's.
Any information regarding the Wormald Family would be much appreciated.
