Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: One parent has to be christened. If you're not and there's not another parent then the vicar will make you go through religious training and be christened first. There has to be a reasonable expectation that you're going to raise your baby as a child of God and provide the proper religious training before the vicar will take that step.
