I need to find a way to access death records.?

My mom was adopted and her biological mother died in a Los Angeles Hotel that was since demolished. We have tried to do research on the internet but have turned up nothin beacuse everthing about that hotel was linked to a president who was murdered there. Is there any way that I can access the death records to find out what happened?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: You won't be able to find out what happened but if you know name of biological mom, go to Social Security Death Index and enter as much info as you can. I was adopted and found my birth mom's date and place of death by going here. Good Luck!
