Headstone designs and meanings, does anyone know where I can find out if a certain flower has a meaning?

I want to get a tattoo of the flower on my mom's headstone, but would like to know if there is a meaning behind it. Does anyone know of a good place to find out?

Aside from the standard floral meanings... here's a thought. WHO ordered the tombstone for mom? If you are in touch with that person (and I understand you might not be), you might ask why they chose that flower and its significance for your mother. It might be as simple as it was just her favorite.
The other is to locate the monument company that actually MAKES them, and have a chat. It might be that they are real familiar with selections of symbols, and why they offer/ suggest certain things to the family.
