This is how i learned!!
Okay however low you can get stack pillows up to that height!.
(while your doing the splits on the pillows)
Pull one pillow out from under you, and whenever you can get that low pull another pillow out!.!. so on so on!.
Then whenever you get through with that go take a HOT bath (that will relax your muscles) go do it all over again starting with as many pillows as you did earlier!

Yes you can learn, but it would probably take a while depending on your flexibility!. What kind of splits do you want to do!? There's two types!. Box splits are where your legs are split from the left to right, or the other splits where you have one leg in front and one behind!.
You need to exercise regularly, and stretch every day, particularly focusing on stretching your hamstrings and your back!. Yoga would be a good thing for you to take up, as that really stretches you out!.
Google how to improve your flexibility and it will inform you on basic stretching!. The more you stretch the quicker you will be able to do the splits!.
also, identify which leg is your most flexible (everyone has one leg more flexible than the other, and use it as a preferred leg for the splits), just to make you feel more comfortable!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
You don't really "learn" how to do, you just have to practice and stretch to get more flexible!.
Some stretches that help:
1!. Go as far down into center splits as you can!. Rest on your elbows as you stay there, it'll push you a little further down for a better stretch!.
2!. Sit on the floor, facing a wall!. Put your heels against the wall!. Scoot in towards the wall (by opening your legs) as much as you can!.

There is no way to learn how to do a split quickly!.
You have to stretch your muscles everyday, look online for some simple stretches you can do!.
also, i suggest practicing russians and batmas (i think i spelled that wrong, haha)

Just practice!. Don't have anybody shove you down, you could end up pulling muscles and trust me, a pulled groin muscle is absolutely terrible to deal with!. It hurts to walk so bad!
Anyway, what I used to do when I was a gymnast to get more flexible is sit in front of the TV and stretch while I watched whatever shows I wanted to see!. Spend an hour or two stretching a day and you'll have the splits in no time!. Just don't rush yourself, it's not worth pulling or tearing muscles and tendons!. If you do that, you'll set yourself back anywhere from a couple of months to more than a year!
Just keep up the practice and you'll be there quick!. You're still pretty young, so it shouldn't be a problem at all!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
It would be easier for little kids like 3 year olds to practice when they were joinger cause their body is flexible when you are young!. But of course you can learn to do the splits, just stretch and practice it!. But try to wear something that wouldn't give you wedgies!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
last summer I kept stretching over and over and eventually could do them (1 mth about) and then one day I tried doing like a round off and then falling into the splits and I forgot to stretch and tore my hamstring!.

If you can't do a split then that means your muscles aren't in the shape to do that!. Do a lot of leg excercises and flexibility excercises a lot!. Don't force yourself to do a split because you can really hurt yourselfWww@QuestionHome@Com
