What school years do proms or dances take place at?

Question: What school years do proms or dances take place at!?

My friend asked me this a little earlier today so I just decided to post it on here!. What grades have dances at!? I know there are proms in high school, but is there any other common dances that take place at schools too!? Middle school, high school, college, what types of dances take place there!? I know this is a corny question, it was just on my mind for the whole day!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Most high schools have Homecoming in the fall (football season) in September or October!. Then, they have Courtwarming in the winter (basketball season) in January or February!.

My high school has Junior Prom, usually in early March, and Senior Prom in late April!.

This is how it went when I was in jr high and high school:

7th & 8th grade, we had caual dances every friday night that there was not a football game!.

9th & 10th grade, we had a freshman/sophomore dance, it was formal and at a hotel and was held in the early spring

11th & 12th grade, we had homecoming in October and then the Prom in MayWww@QuestionHome@Com

heyy!. im in 7th grade and we have dances at out school!. not dressy or anything, its just a big party! like we have a Valentines Dance coming up!. and my friend used to go to Belair middle and they had dances!. so it depends on what school you go to (;Www@QuestionHome@Com

my school has dances for 6th-8th graders once a month in high school its not as frequent though but there is homecoming (grades 9-12) junior prom and senior banquet (prom and dinner together) then a couple more spirit week french exchange students are here costa ricans are here w/e

i know in eighth grade they have prom!.!.!.!.they have fall and winter formals, sweethearts, prom in high school!.!.!.well at least at my college we have cabs, freshmen ball, and stuff like thatWww@QuestionHome@Com
