Very flexible back for dance!?
I've been taking dance for 10 years and I'm pretty flexible except in the back!. I'm still very flexible in the back but i want to be able to kick my leg back and over my head like rhythmic gymnasts(if that makes sense) so I pretty much want a super flexible back!. Do you have any stretches or excersizes that might work!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I hear that the Mermaid stretch is good!. It's where you lay one you stomach and prop yourself up and bend back to make you feet touch you head!.!.!. If you've been dancing for 10 years then you know what I am talking about!. Anyways, part of that could be your legs!. Do a lot of the splits first so that they're good and loose!. I attempted this move, why dont you attempt the move you're trying to do, your years of flexibility should make this easier for you!. Take it slowly and while attempting recognize the muscle groups that are preventing your ability to do such a technique!. Focus on stretching those out more so you can become more flexible in those areas, does that make sense!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
doing bridges helps for some people!. (going into a back bend from the floor)

1!. curl up in a ball!.
2!. make sure your nose is touching your knees!.
3!.start rising up while tryign to keep your nose touching you kneew
4!.put your arms aroung your legs
5, try to pull your nose closer and closer to your knees!.
1!. go in splits ( if you cant have legs out forward!.
2!. pull yourslef to you legs!.
3!.hold for 40 seconds!.
4!. ice the back for 30 sseconds and then repeat!.
