Question: Is it safe to go back to work!?

I am an exotic dancer, but I have a broken toe!. It is my big toe, and with 7 inch platform stilletoes most of my body weight is put on my toes!. I know it will cause excruciating pain, but I have to have money asap!.!. The toe was broken 12-28-08 and it is 1-19-09!. almost 1 month!. I still have pain but the dr's sd it takes 6 to 8 weeks for a bone to heal!. would it be stupid to go back to work even though I need the money!?!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

You could damage it again and it will take even longer to heal!. Stay off your toe until it is healed!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would take your Dr's advice, or you will prob!. be in pain longer!.

Can you wear shorter shoes for a while!?!? or dance for shorter periods of time!?!?
